Alison Bova is Professor Emerita at Radford University, VA where she was the head of jewelry and metalsmithing from 2003-2022. She holds an MFA in metalsmithing from East Tennessee State University and a BS in art education with teaching certification from Appalachian State University.
She is a 2016 Niche award winner in holloware/cast category, and her sculptural and jewelry work has been widely exhibited nationally. Her work has been published and featured in Humor in Craft, Cast, Art Jewelry Today 3, Art Jewelry Today 2, Metalsmith, and most recently The Art of Fine Enameling. She has presented lectures at East Carolina Material Topics Symposium, Yuma Arts Symposium, The Texas Metals Symposium, and the Taubman Museum.
